The headspace Bushfire Outreach Service takes the headspace program mobile by providing mental health services to young people, aged 12-25 years, who reside in the Nepean Blue Mountains region that were impacted by the 2019 – 2020 bushfires.
This program is an early intervention outreach model, providing mental health services to the community within Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains LGA.
Specifically, the program provides;
- Risk assessment, risk management and safety planning
- Mental health treatment
- Mental health literacy and capacity building
- Enable better access to primary care services, including GP services
