Consumer Representatives offer Advocacy relationships of peer support and education which are aligned to recovery principles. These relationships are designed to support self-advocacy to the level people are willing and capable.
The opportunities to build these very personal relationships cannot happen without meeting people, and Consumer Representatives attend many Consumer activities.
Consumer Representatives have working relationships with the managers and all the staff of the mental health services as well as the wider staff group of Parramatta Mission to promote respect and citizenship for people supported by Parramatta Mission through its services.
