    Fijian Acknowledgement to Traditional Owners

    Eda rokova ka vakananumi ira na wekada nai Taukei ni qele ena vanua eda sa mai tiko kina, kei ira na wekada na Torres Strait Islanders, ko ira era sa liu, era bula tiko ena gauna oqo kei ira era na muri mai.

    We respect, honour and remember our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander brothers and sisters past, present and future.

    Eda vakananuma na nodrai talanoa, nai i tovo kei na nodra i vakarau ni bula ko i ira nai taukei ni uma qele eda sa tiko kina oqo.

    We acknowledge the stories, traditions and living cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s on the lands in which we live on.

    Eda vakananuma na veika rarawa era lako curuma ena gauna sa oti, ka so se lako curumi tiko ga ena oqo, ka da tu vata kei ira ena vakanuinui ni na ia na veisereki kei na veivakasaututaki.

    We acknowledge the pain and suffering they still face to this day and stand in solidarity with them in hopes of justice.

    Me da vakadeitaki keda ena cakacaka vata, me da veivueti cake, ka vakanuinui ena veisiga vinaka ni mataka.

    May we commit to building a better and brighter future together.

    WORSHIP DURING THE COvid-19 PANDEMIC Lockdown

    SUSPENSION OF WORSHIP SERVICES/ GATHERINGS
    The Synod (NSW/ACT) of the Uniting Church in Australia issued a landmark recommendation on Wednesday 18 March regarding the cessation of all gatherings, including worship services, due to the spread of COVID-19. The congregations of Parramatta Mission are complying with this recommendation in the interests of public health and safety – and due to our strong investment as a denomination in upholding the “common good.”

    Join Us In Worship

    Fijian Congregation Worship at 11.15am every Sunday

    Vulavou and Holy Communion is celebrated on the First Sunday of the month

    Service in Fijian language is held on the Third and Fourth Sunday of the month

    Cross-cultural youth Worship at 11.15am, 2nd Sunday of the month

    Worship is led by the Youth and Young Adults of Leigh Fijian. Cross-cultural Youth Worship is an inclusive worship led by our young people. As member of the wider Uniting Church we recognise that we are a multi-cultural Church made up of Many People, but One Body

    Special Worship

    From time to time there are special services which occur on different days, dates and at different times.

    This includes combined Parramatta Mission worship is held on the Fifth Sunday of the month.

    This also includes Palm Sunday, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, 25th Anniversary Celebration, Fiji Day Worship, Christmas and New Years’ Thanksgiving Service

    To name a few, we have also celebrated Rev’d.Viniana Ravetali’s Ordination, Rev’d Veitinia Waqabaca’s 70th Birthday and Closure of Ministry, Graduations and recently, Adriu Rogoimuri’s 90th birthday celebration
