. Telstra
Stadium was the scene of the latest daring Big Jump for The
Homeless.
Sydneysiders had the opportunity to take the ride of a lifetime
on a flying fox connected between the eastern and western
stands at Telstra Stadium, flying across the field much like
Nikki Webster during the Opening Ceremony of the Sydney 2000
Olympic Games.
The Big Jump For The Homeless at Telstra
Stadium is an annual event with all proceeds going to support
programs of Parramatta Mission to help homeless people in
the Greater West.
Telstra Stadium Chief Executive, Mr Ken
Edwards, said the Stadium was proud to assist the Parramatta
Mission.
The Mission is a very worthy cause
and the Big Jump across Telstra Stadium is a great initiative,
he said.
